Join Hunger Free Vermont to find out how you can support consistent, quality nutrition for kids year-round! This comprehensive workshop will include:

  • An overview of why summer is a high-risk time for kids that can have lasting negative impacts on health and learning
  • A detailed orientation to the USDA’s Summer Food Programs that provide cash reimbursement for meals served to kids
  • Tips for successful program implementation on topics ranging from financial management, to outreach, to community partnerships.
  • A work session where participants can receive personalized guidance on implementing or expanding summer meals in their communities, and build partnerships within the region.
