School Garden Activities

One of the goals of this conference is to initiate a “Community Garden at Every School” campaign.  But this workshop isn’t just for new gardens, it also shows a wide variety of how gardens can be organized to support schools and communities.

The following presenters will share great hands-on activities for school gardens!

– Nancy Schaefer, Program Coordinator, 30+5 Program, Bellows Falls & Springfield, Vermont

– Liz Kenton, Coordinator of the University of Vermont Extension’s Youth Agriculture Project, Vermont

– Abi Healey, School Garden Coordinator, Green Street School, Brattleboro, VT

I would love to volunteer at the Oak Grove school garden, I am currently taking the EMG course, and live just down the street from the school. Who would I talk to about this?
