Taste Test Tips

More local food should be included in the cafeteria for our school children to eat. This is smart nutrition to improve our kids performance as well as supports lifelong learning about good eating habits, while supporting our local food system.  While this is a no brainer for many, it is another major challenge in the way our current food system operates.

Taste Tests are a great way to integrate new foods for kids to try.

Join us to learn how the Green Street School team has redesigned their taste test program to incorporate more student involvement and increase participation. This past month 97% of the student body tried gilfeather turnips!
